Dear Mizzou Soccer Family,
Thank you, Mizzou. Thank you for creating a second home for my teammates and me. Thank you, Mizzou Athletics for supporting and allowing us to play the sport we love. Thank you for shaping us into the women we are today and introducing us to friendships that will last a lifetime.
Mizzou has given us lifelong friendships that we are forever grateful for. We are grateful to have been given the opportunity to meet so many amazing people over these past years.
It's been very special creating bonds with such a unique and diverse group of girls. Being with one another every day has allowed us to create memories that we will always cherish.
Mizzou has taught us lessons and given us knowledge that we will be forever grateful for. It has taught us the significance of being a leader, being accountable, and having a strong work ethic. We are proud to say that we will carry this knowledge with us into the work world and become successful strong women. At the beginning of this journey Blitz would always say Mizzou Soccer will teach us valuable life lessons, and needless to say he was right.
Blitz has taught us the value of time. We learned that you must be diligent and meaningful with everything that you do. Throughout the years, we have learned to take nothing for granted and to approach every aspect of life to the fullest. Time and experiences are something you can never get back, and soon we will only have the memories to look back on. One should never leave Mizzou with regrets or wishing they had done something differently.
Although our time with this incredible program is almost over, we know we will always be a part of the Mizzou soccer family. We know that the program has helped each of us grow as women, and we can only hope that, in one way or another, we helped move the program in a positive direction as well. Thank you to Coach Blitz and the rest of our coaching staff, thank you to all of our teammates, and thank you, Mizzou.
Love,
Izzy Coulter, Anna Frick, Peyton Joseph, Madison Lewis and Sarah Luebbert
