Pedal for Pediatrics Combines Biking, Mizzou Football to Support MU Health Care

Mizzou fan Alan Marrs will bike 1,100 miles to three road games to raise money for MU Women’s & Children’s Hospital

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou fan Alan Marrs is riding his bike nearly 1,100 miles over a four-weeks period as he travels to Mizzou Football's road games at Vanderbilt (Oct. 19), Kentucky (Oct. 26) and at Georgia (Nov. 9). With his childhood friend Buck Brooks, the two are riding to raise money for MU Women's & Children's Hospital and have coined their ride: Pedaling for Mizzou Peds.
The pair will cycle more than 1,100 miles as they make their way from Columbia, Missouri to Athens, Georgia. They will depart from Faurot Field on Saturday, Oct. 12 following the Mizzou Homecoming football game. Along the way, Alan and Buck will make stops in Nashville for the Mizzou vs. Vandy football game on Oct. 19 and Lexington for the Mizzou vs. Kentucky football game on Oct. 26 until they arrive in Athens for the Mizzou vs. Georgia game on Nov. 9.
