@MizzouTennis Nabs Six More Wins at Mizzou Invite

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Mizzou tennis team added six singles victories during day two action at the seventh annual Mizzou Invite Saturday. All six winners also claimed individual victories during Friday action as well.
SINGLES
Junior Mackenzy Middlebrooks recovered from dropping the first set in a tiebreak to claim the final three sets for a 6-7 (3-7), 6-2, 6-2 win over Denver's Anna Riedmiller. The win was her second three-set victory of the tournament, as she also came back from a set down during Friday action.
Sophomore Taylor Gruber made quick work of Denver's Hannah Templeton, with a 6-3, 6-1 victory, while freshman Lisa Fukutoku also had no trouble with Arisha Ladhani of Denver, 6-0, 6-0.
A 6-4, 7-5 win for freshman Vivien Ábrahám put her a perfect 2-0 in the tournament, while junior Gabrielle Goldin and sophomore Marta Oliveria also posted their second wins. Goldin earned a 2-6, 6-2, 6-2 win over Camille Verden-Anderson of Denver, while Oliveira defeated Denver's Tatum Burger, 7-6 (9-7), 4-6, 6-2.
DOUBLES
Middlebrooks and sophomore Ellie Wright claimed their second doubles victory in as many days, notching a 7-5 win over Laura Bente and Hannah Davis of Memphis.
