@MizzouVB Announces Elementary School Day at Hearnes

Tigers will welcome local Columbia elementary schools to home opener
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Volleyball's 2018 home opener on Sept. 14 will feature special young guests, as it will host the program's first-ever "Elementary School Day" at the Hearnes Center. The Tigers will kick off their home season-opening doubleheader at 11 a.m. CT against Texas A&M - Corpus Christi.
Central Missouri schools consists of thousands of students over 21 total institutions. All students, teachers, chaperones and bus drivers will receive complimentary admission to Mizzou and Texas A&M – Corpus Christi's match.
Schools and its participating members are welcome to bring lunches to the match, but Hearnes Center concession stands will also be in operation throughout the afternoon offering a $5 box lunch. The Tiger Team Store will be on hand and selling the latest Mizzou gear.
Before the Tigers' match against the Islanders, schools in attendance will get to hear from Mizzou student-athletes and coaches.
