Emma Allen fired a 1-under 71 to lead the Tigers
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Mizzou Women's Golf is tied for 12th at the 2018 NCAA Tallahassee Regional after 18 holes of action. The Tigers, who entered play as the No. 15 seed, shot an 8-over par 296 Monday on day one at the Don Veller Seminole Golf Course. Mizzou is currently one stroke back of 11th. Head coach Stephanie Priesmeyer's squad is making its 12th appearance in NCAA postseason play this week.
Junior Emma Allen (Southampton, England) led the Tigers on Monday, shooting a 1-under 71. She is tied for 16th individually among a talented field and she's one of 23 competitors who shot under-par on day one of the NCAA Regional. Allen has now recorded 11 rounds under par this season, collecting her first such round since the MountainView Collegiate on March 25.
Sophomore Jessica Yuen (Bolingbrook, Ill.) carded a 1-over 73 on Monday. The Second-Team All-SEC honoree is tied for 33 overall. Junior Cayce Hendrickson and senior Clara Young (North Berwick, Scotland) also scored for Mizzou, shooting 76 each. The duo is tied for 61st.
Mizzou continues play Tuesday in Tallahassee with a second round of 18 holes.
