
@MUWomensGolf in Sixth Place at Bruzzy Challenge Through 36 Holes

Hendrickson is tied for 10th overall
CARROLLTON, Texas. – Mizzou Women's Golf had a strong showing Monday at the Bruzzy Challenge, sitting in sixth place and posting +32 (608) after 36 holes. The challenge began with two rounds of shotgun play at the Maridoe Golf Club, right outside of Dallas. Play will resume tomorrow with a final round at 8:30 a.m. CT.
The Tigers have consistently competed among talented fields throughout their spring campaign and the Bruzzy Challenge has been no exception. There are six squads that are in the GolfStat Top-50 ranking and the Tigers currently sit ahead of two of them. The Tigers are two strokes ahead of No. 49 San Diego State and seven strokes ahead of No. 50 Texas Tech.
Junior Cayce Hendrickson (Benton, Ky.) had a great start Monday as she sits T-10th. Hendrickson posted a 5-over opening round, but battled back on her second 18, firing a 1-over round. Hendrickson is also in second overall for lowest stroke average on par 5s through 36 holes.
Sophomore Jessica Yuen (Bolingbrook, Ill.) is currently T-20th after posting 8-over through 36 holes. Yuen is tied for first in number of birdies with a total of seven.
Junior Emma Allen (Southampton, England) ranks T-26th after tallying 9-over for the day. Junior Amanda Kim (O'Fallon, Mo.) sits at T-43rd after recording 12-over through 36 holes. Sophomore Cherise Otter (Bloomington, Ind.) is T-47th and 13-over. Otter is participating as an individual. Senior Clara Young shot 15-over as she sits T-54th.
