
Mizzou Wrestling Ranked Eighth in Preseason InterMat Rankings

Eierman ranked third at 141 to lead six Mizzou wrestlers ranked in their respective weight classes
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Wrestling is ranked eighth in the InterMat Preseason Top-25 poll, announced Tuesday by the national publication. In addition to ranking among the top-10 nationally as a team, six Tiger grapplers are ranked among the top 20 in their respective weight classes, highlighted by Jaydin Eierman (Columbia, Mo.) who ranks third at 141 pounds.
Redshirt sophomore Grant Leeth (Kearney, Mo.) and redshirt senior Daniel Lewis (Blue Springs, Mo.) are ranked fourth at 149 and 174 pounds, respectively, giving Mizzou three top-five wrestlers at their weights in the preseason. Redshirt senior John Erneste (Kansas City, Mo.) is ninth at 133 pounds, redshirt junior Connor Flynn (Dardenne Prairie, Mo.) is 14th at 165 pounds and Canten Marriott (Excelsior Springs, Mo.) is 15th at 184 pounds.
