Tiger Coaches and Staff to Make Four Stops Around the State in February
COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri football coaching staff is hard at work to finish out its 2018 recruiting class in strong fashion. Mizzou fans who want to get all the details on the next class of Tigers can now mark their calendars for dates in four cities for recruiting receptions to hear all about it.
Shortly after National Signing Day, which is set for Feb. 7th, Head Coach Barry Odom and his staff will be on hand in Columbia, Kansas City, Springfield and St. Louis to meet Tiger fans and talk shop about the the new class – which is shaping up to be one of the higher-ranked classes in recent years for Mizzou.
The tour will begin at the home base of Columbia, on Feb. 13 at the Columns Club at Memorial Stadium from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost for the catered lunch is $20 per person, with the program beginning at Noon. To reserve a spot, fans are encouraged to register online in advance with the Tiger Quarterback Club here.
Two days later, the tour moves west to Kansas City on Thur., Feb. 15 for a 5 p.m. start (6 p.m. program) at the Westport Flea Market (817 Westport Road). The cost to attend is $10 for public, but is free for KC Tiger Club Members. Those interested in attending are asked to register in advance via e-mail at Respond@KCTigerClub.com.
The following week will see trips to Springfield and St. Louis to round out the tour. The first stop is Springfield on Wed., Feb. 21 for a luncheon at University Plaza Hotel (333 S. John Q. Hammons Parkway) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. For $25 per person, attendees get lunch and the program, which begins at Noon. Tables of 10 (along with an autographed football) are also available for purchase. Fans are encouraged to contact Brian Cheever to register in advance via e-mail, at bcheever@clearcreekvehicles.com.
The final stop will come in St. Louis the following day, on Thur., Feb. 22 at Orlando's in Maryland Heights (2050 Dorsett Village). The evening reception begins at 5:30 p.m., with the program starting up at 6:30. Cost to attend is $20 per person, with children 12 and under free. Fans are encouraged to register in advance by reaching Curt Sawyer at curt@sawcap.com.
Season ticket orders are being accepted for the 2018 season, including renewals and new requests. Contact the Mizzou Ticket Office at 1-800-CAT-PAWS (884-PAWS locally) with questions. Season ticket holders who renew by the April 14 deadline will receive a special limited--edition souvenir, with details to be announced soon.
