Jessica Yuen led the Tigers for the second consecutive weekend
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Women's Golf wrapped up the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship in Knoxville, Tenn., on Tuesday. The 54-hole tournament took place at the Par-71 Cherokee Country Club.
Mizzou placed 15th overall, posting an 899 (300-300-299). Sophomore Jessica Yuen led the way for the Tigers for the second consecutive weekend, carding a team-best 220 (74-73-73). She has now shot a 73 or under in five of six rounds to begin the 2017 fall campaign.
Senior Clara Young followed Yuen and shot a 224 (73-76-75). She paced Mizzou on day one of the tournament with a 2-over-par 73. Young has carded a 2-over-par or better in three rounds through two weekends this season.
Juniors Emma Allen, Cayce Hendrickson and Marit Harryvan rounded out the results for Mizzou with three-round scores of 227, 230 and 235, respectively. Sophomore Cherise Otter also competed as an individual at the tournament, carding a 230 (77-79-74).
Mizzou is off next weekend before hosting the annual Johnie Imes Invitational from Oct. 2-Oct. 4 at The Club at Old Hawthorne.
