Mizzou Men's Basketball (8-10, 1-4) heads to No. 10 Texas A&M (16-2, 6-0) on Saturday, Jan. 23, with a 3 p.m. tipoff set for broadcast on the SEC Network.
Junior guard Wes Clark has reset his career scoring mark three times this season, with his latest 20-point outing (26 points at No. 19 South Carolina, Jan. 16) the most recent effort of note.
Clark has done well in his last two showings vs. Texas A&M, averaging 16.5 points, 6.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game.
Head coach Kim Anderson's squad is looking for its second conference win of the season after their decisive, 76-61 victory over Auburn (Jan. 9).
Freshman forward Kevin Puryear surpassed the 200-point mark vs. Georgia (Jan. 20), tying as the sixth-fastest freshman to that mark in program history.
Puryear leads the Tigers in scoring in overall games this season with his 11.5 points per game.

Last Time Out

Mizzou (8-10, 1-4 SEC) fought back in the second half, but ultimately fell 60-57 to Georgia (10-6, 3-3 SEC) inside Mizzou Arena (Jan. 20).
The Tigers held Georgia to 1-of-9 from the three-point line in the first half, the lowest percentage (11 percent) any team has shot against Mizzou in a half since March 5, 2013 (Arkansas 1-15, 6.7 percent).
Freshman forward Kevin Puryear was 2-of-2 from the free throw line, improving to 20-of-22 (90.9 percent) from the line in SEC play this season, the second-highest mark in the conference.
Puryear scored 10 points in the game, the 12th time he has scored in double-digits in 18 games this season.
In the first half, Puryear notched his 200th point as a Tiger. Puryear reached 200 points in 18 games, tying as the sixth fastest freshman to 200 points in program history.
Freshman guard Terrence Phillips tied his season-high for three-pointers made with three, the fourth time this season he has connected on three triples in a game.
Sophomore guard Tramaine Isabell set a career-high for field goals attempts with 10.
Isabell matched his steal career-high total with 2 steals on the night.

Rosburg Shooting Conference Lights Out

Senior forward Ryan Rosburg shot 3-of-4 from the field vs. Georgia (Jan. 20) improving to 14-of-16 from the field in Southeastern Conference play (87.5 percent).
That mark was boosted by Rosburg's career-best six field goal makes (out of six attempts) at No. 19 South Carolina (Jan. 16). The effort led to 12 points for his highest scoring output of the season.
Rosburg has yet to miss more than one field goal attempt in a conference game this season (1-of-2 at Georgia, Jan. 6; 3-of-4 vs. Georgia, Jan. 20).

Digging In at the Line

Mizzou has seen improvement at the free line this season, shooting 70.9 percent (287-of-405) thus far in the 2015-16 campaign. Four Tigers are currently shooting better than 75.0-percent from the line, led by the strong charity stripe presence of freshman forward Kevin Puryear (82.4 percent, 61-of-74).
Last season, Mizzou finished with a 66.0-percent FT mark, with only two Tigers shooting above the 75.0-percent mark.

Last Time vs. Texas A&M

Both Wes Clark and Jakeenan Gant had good showings in Mizzou's last tussle with Texas A&M (Feb. 7, 2015). Clark led the Tigers with his 15 points (5-of-11 FG, 1-of-5 3PT, 4-of-5 FT), while also dishing out six assists. Gant dropped in 10 points coming off the bench, shooting an efficient 4-of-5 from the field and 2-of-2 from the line.
Mizzou faced a 38-31 deficit at the halftime break, but was unable to keep pace with the Aggies in the second half, eventually falling by a score of 83-61. The final rebounding margin edged slightly in Texas A&M's favor at 27-26.

Last Time at Texas A&M

Texas A&M fought back from a seven-point Mizzou halftime lead (31-24) to win 62-50 on Jan. 21, 2015, in the Tigers' last trip to College Station.
Then-sophomore guard Wes Clark led the way for the Tigers with 18 points, hitting on 7-of-11 field goal attempts with especially strong outside shooting (4-of-6 3PT).

Texas A&M (16-2, 6-0) have jumped out to a perfect start in Southeastern Conference play thanks in large part to the play of senior guard/forward Jalen Jones, who has averaged 20.7 points per game against league opponents. Joining Jones in double-figure scoring has been senior guard Danuel House (15.2).
