COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Wrestling alum Tyron Woodley won the UFC World Welterweight Championship at UFC 201 on Saturday night in Atlanta, Ga. The two-time NCAA All-American captured the title with a first round knockout over previous champion Robbie Lawler while improving to 16-3 in UFC fights.
