ATHENS, Ga. – Senior Clark Thomas (Olathe, Kansas) secured a second-place finish as the Mizzou men's and women's diving teams continued action at the Georgia Diving Invitational on Monday.

Thomas, who took third on 1-meter on Sunday, added a runner-up finish in the men's 1-meter competition on Monday. He totaled 359.3 points in the final after a near-identical tally of 359.05 in morning prelims. 

On women's 3-meter, sophomore Alexa Beckwith (Denver, Colorado) scored 277.55 points in the final to earn eighth overall. She went for 280.75 points in preliminaries.

The three-day Georgia Diving Invitational concludes on Tuesday, Jan. 5 with the men's and women's platforms.
