COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou volleyball will be featured in seven nationally televised broadcasts in 2015, as announced Thursday by the Southeastern Conference. Five Tigers contests are set for SEC Network coverage, while two matches will air on ESPNU.
In its second season of extensive national coverage, the SEC Network and ESPNU will air 50 women's volleyball matches throughout the 2015 campaign. New to this year's television schedule is Wednesday Night Volleyball, as ESPNU will air 10 consecutive weeks of SEC volleyball in addition to an SEC Network game creating a weekly doubleheader of SEC volleyball across national television networks.
Mizzou will be a part of four Wednesday Night Volleyball matches in 2015, beginning with the team's SEC and home opener on Sept. 30 against Florida. The Tigers' first televised road contest is set for Oct. 11 at Alabama on SEC Network.
Beginning on Wednesday, Oct. 28 vs. Alabama, Mizzou has four consecutive matches set for national television coverage. Following their matchup against the Crimson Tide, the Tigers' contest versus Auburn at the Hearnes Center on Nov. 1 will also be broadcasted on SEC Network.
The string of four consecutive televised games continues on Nov. 4 with another Wednesday Night Volleyball match at Texas A&M on ESPNU. SEC Network coverage returns on Nov. 8, as Mizzou travels to LSU.
Mizzou's last nationally televised game in 2015 is their fourth and final Wednesday Night Volleyball contest, as they head to Arkansas on Nov. 18. The Tigers and Razorbacks will be viewable on ESPNU.
Additional school-produced Mizzou volleyball matches, available on SEC Network + via WatchESPN, will be announced at a later date.
