POSTGAME NOTES - Mizzou 78, Northern Illinois 71

• This was Mizzou's second consecutive game opening with a run of over 12 points.
• Mizzou improved to 4-0 at home this season. The Tigers are now 2-0 all-time against Northern Illinois.
• Jakeenan Gant has recorded a block in 6-of-7 games this season
• Gant set his season-high in points (11) and rebounds (6). 
• Russell Woods tied his career highs with nine points and four rebounds.
• Wes Clark set his career-high in rebounds with seven. The Northern Illinois game was also the sixth consecutive game in which he tallied three or more assists. 
• Namon Wright grabbed six rebounds, recording his 100th career rebound in the process. This marked the sixth time in seven games this season that he has grabbed at least four.
• Northern Illinois converted 34.9 percent of their field goal attempts, a season-low for Mizzou opponents.  The Tigers have held five of their seven opponents to less than 40 percent shooting this season.
• Kevin Puryear has scored in double digits in six of seven career games
• Terrence Phillips has recorded a steal in four consecutive games.
• Philips has three-straight games with four or more assists, which was a career best total for him when he first reached it.
• Ten or more Mizzou players scored for the second consecutive game, which happened twice in 2014-15.  
• The last time Mizzou saw four players grab five or more rebounds was March 7, 2015 at Mississippi State.
