@MizzouFootball’s Clarence Green Named to SEC Community Service Team

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Football senior LB Clarence Green (Clute, Texas) has been named to the 2015 SEC Football Community Service Team, as announced by the SEC on Wednesday (Dec. 2). The SEC names a Community Service Team for each of its 21 league-sponsored sports, looking to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to his community through superior service efforts. Green was Mizzou's honoree in 2015.

The SEC names a Community Service Team for each of its 21 league-sponsored sports, looking to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to his community through superior service efforts. Green was Mizzou's honoree in 2015.

During his career at Mizzou, Green assisted at the Central Missouri Food Bank and was a volunteer at Granny's House, a local Columbia, Missouri ministry that works with under-privileged children in the area. Green spent countless hours reading to children at the Dr. Seuss Literacy Event and at the Grant Elementary Read-A-Thon. He was a participant in the SAAC Canned Food Drive, volunteered at Benton Elementary School and assisted in the Spring Game football kid's camp. Member of the 2014 Academic Honor Roll.
