@MizzouSoccer Set to Host Tennessee Sunday on Senior Day

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Mizzou soccer team continues Southeastern Conference action with a home match against Tennessee on Sunday, Oct. 18 at 1 p.m. on Senior Day. The match will be televised live on ESPNU with Glenn Davis and Cat Whitehill on the call.
Fans attending Sunday's contest are encouraged to donate goods in support of relief efforts for fellow SEC member South Carolina and the university's surrounding area, affected adversely by recent floods and damaging storms. Mizzou fans are particularly encouraged for paper supplies donations, such as plates, bowls, cups, towels, toilet paper, tissue paper and plastic flatware. All fans donating goods will receive free admission to the match.
TIGER TIDBITS
- Mizzou went 1-1 last weekend, with a 2-1 road loss to LSU and a 2-0 shutout over Georgia.
- Missouri has scored nine goals in its last five games for a 1.8 goals per match average over that span. The previous five games, the Tigers averaged only 0.4 goals per game.
- The Mizzou defense has allowed only 12 goals in 14 games this season, which is tied for the second-lowest goals allowed output over the first 14 matches in program history.
- Additionally, Missouri allows only 0.8 goals per game to its opponents, a figure that ranks third in the SEC.
- With only four games remaining in the regular season, the Tigers sit tied for third in the SEC standings with 13 points.
- Mizzou notched its fourth shutout of the season against Georgia last Sunday in a 2-0 win. It marked the first career shutout for redshirt sophomore keeper Kristen Rivers.
- Sophomore Savannah Trujillo leads the Tigers with four goals on the year, three of which have come in SEC play.
- Also with multiple goals this season are redshirt senior Lauren Flynn, redshirt junior Jessica Herrman and sophomores Jessica Johnson and Alli Magaletta, who all have two.
- Redshirt sophomore keeper Kristen Rivers has started the last five games in net for Mizzou and boasts a 1.09 GAA and a .750 save percentage.
