COLUMBIA, Mo. – #TigerStyle redshirt sophomore Willie Milkus will represent Mizzou on Sunday, Nov. 1 at the 50th annual NWCA All-Star Classic in Atlanta. The event hosts some of the nation's top NCAA Division I wrestlers in each respective weight class.
Miklus will compete in a local feature at 184 pounds against Arizona State's redshirt senior Blake Stauffer. The pair met in wrestlebacks at the 2015 NCAA Championships last March and Stauffer prevailed 7-2. Miklus will seek to flip the script when the duo clashes again in November.
Miklus went on to place seventh overall at the 2015 NCAA Championships to earn All-American honors. He is one of three returning All-Americans on Mizzou's squad this season and enters his redshirt sophomore campaign with a 33-9 career record. This will be Miklus' first career trip to the All-Star Classic.
The All-Star Classic will air live on ESPNU. The event takes place at Georgia Tech's McCamish Pavilion and tickets are available for purchase here. For all the latest on Mizzou Wrestling, stay tuned to MUTigers.com and follow the team on Twitter @MizzouWrestling.
