COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou wrestling brings seven grapplers to Las Vegas, Nev. this weekend, as two Tigers will compete at the 2015 ASICS U.S. Senior Open and five more head to the 2015 UWW Junior Freestyle National Championships.

Redshirt senior Alan Waters (61 kg / 134 lbs.) and sophomore J'den Cox (97 kg / 213 lbs.) begin competition at the U.S. Senior Open on Friday, May 8. Waters enters the tournament pre-seeded No. 8 at 134 lbs, while Cox is un-seeded at 213 lbs.

Waters and Cox will be each vying for top-5 finishes in their respective weight classes in order to secure a spot at the 2015 U.S. World Team Trials in early June.

Also set for this weekend in Las Vegas are the 2015 UWW Junior Freestyle National Championships. Freshman Chase Brennan, freshmanSam Crane, freshman John Erneste, freshman Daniel Lewis and redshirt freshman Barlow McGhee will all represent Mizzou wrestling in Sin City in the premier event.
