Awendaw, S.C.--In its final regular season outing at the Hootie at Bulls Bay, Mizzou Golf tied for ninth with Coastal Carolina at 3-under-par 861.
No. 5 South Carolina (-26) extended its lead from the second round to win the event by 11 strokes. No. 29 New Mexico (-15) took second. GRU Augusta (-13) made a strong push during the final round to finish third.
For the second tournament in a row, Jacob Fair was the top finisher for Mizzou. Fair tied for 12th after carding 5-under-par 211. Fair's tournament total of 211 is a career-best mark for the redshirt sophomore.
Euan Walker tied for 29th at even-par 216.
Hayden Buckley and Linus Lilliedahl posted scores of 3-over-par 219 to finish tied for 39th.
Senior Ryan Zech tied for 53rd at 7-over-par 223.
Mizzou Golf begins postseason play April 17-19 at the SEC Championship in Sea Island, Ga.
