Bandon, Ore.--With the final round of the Bandon Dunes Championship cancelled due to weather, Mizzou Golf claimed its third season victory Sunday at Bandon Dunes Resort.
Because of the weather, the Tigers share the win with Duke. The victory is the second back-to-back victory for Mizzou this season. Mizzou also posted a repeat victory at its season opener, the Turning Stone Intercollegiate.
Sophomore Linus Lilliedahl and freshman Hayden Buckley recorded career-best finishes. Lilliedahl tied for third at 3-under-par 141, while Buckley tied for 13th at even-par 144. Lilliedahl's previous top finish was a tie for eighth at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate in October. Buckley has improved his placing in each of his four outings this season, with his previous top finish being a tie for 22nd at the Loyola Golf Invite.
Senior Ryan Zech earned his third top-10 finish of the season with a tie for sixth at 2-under-par 142.
Euan Walker tied for 33rd at 4-over-par 148. Luigi Botta tied for 76th at 12-over-par 156.
The Tigers return to action March 22-24 at the Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate in Williamsburg, Va.
