We are proud to welcome back all of our Mizzou Women's Basketball alum this weekend, and especially the 1984-85 Big 8 Championship team members. It has been 30 years since that special season and we think it's important to recognize their efforts. As always, Sunday's game marks Family Funday, featuring pre-game activities on the concourse. Kids 12 and under get into the game free.

Last Time vs. Auburn
Last season, Mizzou traveled to Auburn, and a hot start helped the Mizzou Tigers earn a 68-58 win over the other Tigers. Mizzou carried a 42-14 lead into halftime thanks to both Sierra Michaelis and Kayla McDowell who earned the start and came out with eight and nine first-half points, respectively. McDowell finished with 11 points and 9 rebounds, just short of her third-career double-double. Freshman Jordan Frericks also finished strong with eight points and seven rebounds total. Junior Morgan Eye led the Tigers on the game, tallying 21 points on 6-of-10 shooting from distance. Last time the Auburn Tigers came to Mizzou Arena, a pair of school and SEC records fell on Sunday as Mizzou hit a school-record 18 three-pointers, led by a school-record 11 from sophomore Morgan Eye. The 18 three-pointers made by the Tigers on Sunday are the most ever by an SEC school, shattering the previous best mark of 17 by Ole Miss. Additionally, Eye's 11 three-point buckets are also the marked ever in an SEC league game and just one shy of the best-ever NCAA mark.

Scouting the Auburn Tigers
Auburn will come to Mizzou Arena looking for its first SEC win as the Tigers are 0-10 in SEC play. The Tigers are led by Tra'Cee Tanner and Brandy Montgomery who both average just over 11 points per game. Tanner also leads the team in rebounds, grabbing almost six per game.

Quick Hits
• It's no secret that sophomore Jordan Frericks is Mizzou's weapon on the glass. She is averaging 10.2 rebounds per game and stands as the first Tiger to average more than 10 rebounds per game since Kesha Bonds averaged 10.1 rpg in the 1997-98 season.

• #RoadWarrior: In road games this year, Jordan Frericks averages an impressive 19.7 points and 11.3 rebounds per game. She accounts for 32-percent of the team's points and 28-percent of the team's rebounds in road games.

• In 22 games this season the Tigers have allowed just four teams to shoot better than 40-percent in a game. In fact, the Tigers have limited opponents to less than 37-percent shooting in 15 games, winning 11 of those 14 contests.

• The 47 points allowed by Mizzou against Florida are the fewest that the Tigers have ever allowed in a regular season SEC game since joining the league and match the fewest ever in an SEC game allowed by the Tigers (Mizzou held Vanderbilt to 53 in the SEC Tournament in 2012-13)

• Mizzou has been getting it done with defense so far this season. In fact, in 14 of the Tigers' games this season, they have held their opponents to 60 or fewer points. Of course, Mizzou has won 10 of those 14 contests. Mizzou held its opponents to 60 or fewer points just 11 times last season. In fact, Mizzou has won 19 of its last 24 games when holding opponents to fewer than 60 points (dating back to the start of last season).

• A big reason why Mizzou's defense has been so stingy is the fact that they are limiting opponents to 34.6-percent shooting this season, 3rd in the SEC and the 14th in the nation.

• The Tigers have also made a living on limiting second-chance points this season. In nine games this year, Mizzou has limited its opponent to single-digit second-chance points. The last time coming against Florida in Columbia, when the Tigers allowed the Gators just three second-chance points. Mizzou averages 15.1 second chance points per game while only allowing opponents an average of 9.4.

Jordan Frericks sits at No. 40 in the nation for her rebounding numbers so far this season. Not only that, but the Tigers are outrebounding opponents by 5.1 rebounds per game, good for 52nd in the nation.

• The Tigers have gone hard on the glass this season, outrebounding opponents in 17 games so far this year. The Tigers grabbed a season-high 55 rebounds against UNLV on Nov. 21. Mizzou has tallied 50 or more boards in three games.
