Last Time vs. Alabama
Last season, the Crimson Tide traveled to Mizzou Arena and edged out the Tigers in a close contest, 59-56. Mizzou was down by ten going into halftime, 32-22, but the Tigers came roaring back in the second half outscoring the Tide, 34-27. Three Tigers ended the game in double figures led by then-junior Morgan Eye with 19 points, including four treys. Senior Bri Kulas was right behind Eye with 18 points and then-freshman Kayla McDowell contributed a double-double with twelve points and 11 rebounds. Mizzou also did well on the boards in the game by outrebounding Alabama, 47-41.

Mizzou will head to Tuscaloosa to face the 12-13 overall and 1-9 in SEC play Crimson Tide. The Tide are coming off a 51-39 loss on Sunday to the other Tigers of LSU. Alabama is second to last in the league, however, they have found offensive production from underclassman Ashley Williams and Meoshonti Knight. Alabama does come into the contest averaging 8.9 steals per game.

Quick Hits
• It's no secret that sophomore Jordan Frericks is Mizzou's weapon on the glass. She is averaging 10.2 rebounds per game and stands as the first Tiger to average more than 10 rebounds per game since Kesha Bonds averaged 10.1 rpg in the 1997-98 season.

• #RoadWarrior: In road games this year, Jordan Frericks averages an impressive 19.7 points and 11.3 rebounds per game. She accounts for 32-percent of the team's points and 28-percent of the team's rebounds in road games.

• In 22 games this season the Tigers have allowed just four teams to shoot better than 40-percent in a game. In fact, the Tigers have limited opponents to less than 37-percent shooting in 16 games, winning 12 of those 16 contests.

• The 47 points allowed by Mizzou against Florida are the fewest that the Tigers have ever allowed in a regular season SEC game since joining the league and match the fewest ever in an SEC game allowed by the Tigers (Mizzou held Vanderbilt to 53 in the SEC Tournament in 2012-13)

• Mizzou has been getting it done with defense so far this season. In fact, in 15 of the Tigers' games this season, they have held their opponents to 60 or fewer points. Of course, Mizzou has won 11 of those 15 contests. Mizzou held its opponents to 60 or fewer points just 11 times last season. In fact, Mizzou has won 20 of its last 25 games when holding opponents to fewer than 60 points (dating back to the start of last season).

• A big reason why Mizzou's defense has been so stingy is the fact that they are limiting opponents to 34.4-percent shooting this season, 3rd in the SEC and the 11th in the nation.

• The Tigers have also made a living on limiting second-chance points this season. In 10 games this year, Mizzou has limited its opponent to single-digit second-chance points. The last time coming against Auburn in Columbia, when the Tigers allowed the Gators just three second-chance points. Mizzou averages 14.7 second chance points per game while only allowing opponents an average of 9.5.

Jordan Frericks sits at No. 38 in the nation for her rebounding numbers so far this season. Not only that, but the Tigers are outrebounding opponents by 5.0 rebounds per game, good for 51st in the nation.

• The Tigers have gone hard on the glass this season, outrebounding opponents in 17 games so far this year. The Tigers grabbed a season-high 55 rebounds against UNLV on Nov. 21. Mizzou has tallied 50 or more boards in three games.
