Game Notes
- With the win, Wayne and Susan Kreklow have won 300 matches as a coaching-duo since taking over the Mizzou program in 2000.
- Mizzou is now 36-4 all-time at the Tiger Invitational.
- Carly Kan recorded a new career high in kills with 25 on a career-high 66 attacks. The sophomore's previous high was 24 kills on 50 attempts at LSU during her rookie campaign (10/25/13).
- Kan also posted a new career high in digs with 19, beating her previous record of 17 at LSU (10/25/13). She was just one dig shy of Mizzou's first 20-20 match since 2008.
- Loxley Keala recorded her first career blocks during the match with eight total blocks and her second career double-double with 15 digs and 24 assists, setting new career highs in both categories.
- Emily Thater now has 20 blocks over the past three matches after posting six on Friday night.
- Whitney Little set a new season high in kills with 14 on a season-high 24 attacks. Little also led the Tigers in hitting percentage at .583.
- Staying on the topic of hitting efficiency, Mizzou had nine attack errors in the first set. But the Tiger rallied to only commit eight in the next three sets combined, hitting .311, .324 and .395 in the last three sets, respectively.
- With the second set knotted at seven, the Tigers went on a 11-0 run to take the lead and go on to win their first set of the match. Freshman Ali Kreklow led Mizzou on the run, with 10 consecutive serves.
- Sarah Meister set a new season high in digs with 26. The senior libero was just one dig short of tying her career record.
- Kreklow tallied 25 assists, a new career high.
- With 10 digs, freshman Alexa Armendariz posted a new career high. Her previous career high was seven at North Texas (8/30/14).
- Mizzou tallied 17 blocks during the match, the most since it had 19 at Alabama (11/10/13) last season.
- The Tigers set new season highs in total kills with 62, assists with 55, total attacks with 172, total blocks with 17 and digs with 85.
