- With the win, Mizzou has now won 35 consecutive regular season matches, the longest active streak in the nation.
- The Tigers have also won 19 consecutive regular season non-conference matches, dating back to the 2012 season.
- Mizzou improves to 7-0 in season openers since 2008 and has won all but one season-opener under Wayne and Susan Kreklow.
- Mizzou has also won its last five matches in the state of Texas.
- Mizzou is now 18-1 in its last 20 matches in the opening weekend of play.
