
Kraft Leads Tigers to Top-Three Finish at Mountain View

Tucson, Ariz. - Three Tigers earned top-20 finishes to help Mizzou Women's Golf take third overall at the Mountain View Collegiate on Saturday (March 29). Junior Laura Kraft led the Tigers, finishing in a tie for fourth overall. She shot 1-under par in the third round finish at even par for her best performance so far this season. As a team, Mizzou shot 15-over par through three rounds to finish in third. Nebraska took home the tournament title with a score 10-over par followed by Kent State (+11).
Junior Alina Rogers joined Kraft in the top 20 individuals as she tied for 17th overall. Rogers shot 1-over par in the third round to finish 4-over par through three rounds. Redshirt freshman Michelle Butler was close behind as she closed the tournament 5-over par to tie for 19th.
Senior Taylor Gohn tied for 35th in the tournament as she shot 10-over par through three rounds, carried by a strong third round performance. Gohn shot just 1-over par on the second day for her best round of the tournament. Freshman Jess Meek finished the tournament 10-over par as well, joining Gohn in the tie for 35th place. Meek also had her best performance in the third round as she shot 2-under par.
Senior Kate Gallagher tied for 69th in the tournament as she finished three rounds 18-over par.
A total of 15 teams took part in the tournament, including Arkansas State, BYU, Colorado State, Gonzaga, Kansas State, Kent State, Minnesota, Mizzou, Nebraska, New Mexico State, Northern Arizona, Portland State, Redlands Community College, Tulsa and Wyoming.
