Mizzou Golf Remains in Contention at Kiawah Classic

Columbia, Mo.-- After a tough day on the course for all teams, Mizzou Golf remains in second place heading into the final round of Wendy's Kiawah Classic Tuesday.

Over two rounds on the par-72 course at Turtle Point Golf Club, the Tigers have carded a score of 11-over-par 587 and are just four strokes behind the leader, No. 37 Winthrop.

Ryan Zech advanced in the standings during the second round after posting a 1-under-par 71 to be even for the tournament. Zech is tied for sixth heading into the final round.

Euan Walker remained in 14th with a two-day total of 2-over-par 146. Hayden Buckley, Missouri's first-round leader, is tied for 22nd at 4-over-par 148. Wilson Sundvold is one stroke behind Buckley and tied for 30th with a 36-hole total of 5-over-par 149. Linus Lilliedahl finished the second round tied for 71st at 12-over-par 156.

Mizzou tees off for the final round of Wendy's Kiawah Classic and its fall season at 7:50 a.m. CT.
