COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Tigers are returning home from their final weekend of regular season travel on Saturday, departing the Drake Relays, Penn State Relays, and Triton Invitational with new personal records (PR) and All-Time Top Ten list marks.  As the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Championships approach, the teams now look to their final meet of the regular season - the Tom Botts Invitational on Saturday, May 3rd, in Columbia.

Overall, the Tigers close the week with a nine PR's and seven new All-Time Top Ten marks, including a new Mizzou School Record in the discus from junior Kearsten Peoples (57.31m / 188-0.5).

DRAKE RELAYS
The day's competitions kicked off in Des Moines, Ia., where junior Mitch Hatten hit a new PR in the high jump, placing tenth in the field with a top bar of 2.08m (6-9.75).

Junior Katrine Haarklau placed third in the women's pole vault with a jump of 4.05m (13-3.5), the top mark for the Tigers thus far this season.  She was followed by junior Maggie Givens and senior Heather Green in seventh and ninth, respectively, and freshman Alyssa Applebee in 12th.

TRITON INVITATIONAL
The trio of throws women at the Triton Invitational continued their streak of exciting performances, started earlier this week at the Emporia State Mid-Week Open.  Peoples threw a new season's best mark in the shot put, placing third with her toss of 17.90m (58-8.75).  That is her top mark ever for in-season competition, as her School Record performance of 18.22m (59-9.5) came from the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials.

Senior Katie Evans bested her PR mark from earlier in the week with her 15.41m (50-6.75) performance to maintain her No. 8 spot on the All-Time list.

PENN RELAYS
The day concluded with one final PR performance, this time in Philadelphia, Penn., at the Penn Relays.  Sophomore Tony Carodine finished fourth in the men's triple jump with a best jump of 15.64m (51-3.75) to move up into the No. 5 spot on the Top Ten list.  He was followed closely by junior Jonathan Ilori in fifth.

Sophomore Markesh Woodson also hit the track for the 100-meter dash finals in his first individual competition of the outdoor season, and placed eighth overall.

Next up is the Tom Botts Invitational, which will serve as a dual between the Tigers and the Wisconsin Badgers.  Events at Audrey Walton Stadium will start at 1 p.m. on Saturday with the field events; running events will began at 2 p.m.  For the latest on your Tigers, stay tuned to MUTigers.com and follow the team on Twitter @MIZ_TrackField.
