No. 15 Mizzou 5, Missouri State 0 - Game Notes

• After Wednesday's victory, Mizzou improved to 7-0 against Missouri State under head coach Ehren Earleywine.

• The Tigers have thoroughly controlled the last three meetings with the in-state school, outscoring the Bears a combined 24-0.

• Freshman P Tori Finucane worked through 7.0 spotless innings en route to a complete game shutout. Finucane gave up just three hits and struck out five.

• In 147.2 innings in the circle, Finucane has a 1.61 ERA in 2014. The ace hurler has won seven consecutive decisions from April 9 through April 23. That is the longest winning streak for a Mizzou pitcher since Chelsea Thomas won eight-straight decisions last season.

• Redshirt sophomore catcher Alyssa Cousins earned her second start of 2014 and first behind the plate. She cashed in on the opportunity, throwing a dart to catch Missouri State's first base runner of the game attempting to steal second.

• Junior IF Corrin Genovese went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Genovese has 27 multi-hit games in her career and 12 in 2014.

• Junior 3B/C Angela Randazzo ripped her second triple of the season and fourth of her career in the bottom of the fourth.

• Randazzo added her sixth home run of 2014 in the bottom of the sixth, recording her team-leading 29th career multi-hit game. With two RBI on Wednesday, she has 23 career multi-RBI performances.

• Gadbois recorded another steal. The speedster has an SEC-leading 41 swipes, which ties former MU player Kris Schmidt for sixth all-time on the Mizzou single-season stolen bases list.
