AUSTIN, Tx. - The Tigers wrapped up a busy weekend in Texas on Saturday as they closed out both the Texas Relays (Austin) and Texas State's Bobcat Invitational (San Marcos).  Overall, the teams departed with nine personal record (PR) performances and ten new All-Time Top Ten marks, three of which came on the final day of competition.

Junior Jill Rushin got things going for the Tigers on Saturday as she notched her second win of the weekend at the Texas Relays, claiming the title in the discus with a PR performance of 51.52m (169-0).  Rushin had already moved into the All-Time Top Ten list for the first time in the discus on Thursday with her first PR of the weekend, 50.95m (167-2).  She will maintain that spot after Saturday's performance.

Rushin also holds the No. 3 spot on the All-Time Top Ten for the shot put after her win in the event at the Texas Relays on Friday with an outdoor PR toss of 16.59m (54-5.25).

The pair of javelin throwers, senior Hailey Twietmeyer and junior Ser Whitaker, also depart Texas with a pair of PR's and All-Time Top Ten marks, placing first and second in their respective fields at the Bobcat Invitational.  Twietmeyer was up first, taking a win with her best throw of 49.28m (161-8) to maintain her No. 2 spot on Missouri's record board.

Whitaker debuted on the All-Time Top Ten for the men's javelin after he finished as runner-up with a best mark of 61.19m (200-9).

Next up for the black and gold is the Crimson Tide Invitational in Tuscaloosa, Ala., scheduled for April 4th - April 5th.  For the latest on your Tigers, stay tuned to MUTigers.com and follow the team on Twitter @MIZ_TrackField.
