On why the bats went silent the last two games...
"I don't know if there is ever an explanation for why the bats went silent. We just didn't have it this weekend. I don't know if you give some credit to the pitchers here, but we've seen pitchers as good, we've hit pitchers as good as the ones we faced here, and we just didn't get it done."
On the missed run-downs...
"I mean, in that inning the game got away from us. Even when it's 1-0 it's a lot more manageable. It happens in the game of softball, and if we were able to answer and put some runs on the board and gain some momentum it would have helped us. But we didn't have the offense that we needed today to be able to do that."

On the Oregan State Pitcher, Marina Demore...
"I don't think it was just that she was tough to hit. I feel like we made a lot of solid contact again, balls weren't following through, we weren't beating out pitches and runs. I don't think she had anything that was overwhelming us, I think we just didn't rise to the occasion and get the hits we needed to."
