
Tigers Conclude Day One at Rebel Intercollegiate

Oxford, Miss. - Mizzou Women's Golf completed day one at the M&F Bank Rebel Intercollegiate, finishing the day 22-over par. The Tigers are currently in 15th place overall, just nine strokes away from the top ten. No. 49 Coastal Carolina leads the tournament after firing a first-round score of 4-under par. No. 24 Baylor and Mississippi State are tied for second overall with a score of 1-over par. Sophomore Alina Rogers is leading Missouri as she is currently tied for 11th overall. She finished the first round at even par after tallying four birdies on the back nine holes.
Sophomore Laura Kraft is just a few strokes behind Rogers, completing the first round with a score of 6-over par. Kraft is tied for 65th overall in the tournament. Taylor Gohn completed the first round just one stroke behind Kraft to tie for 73rd in the tournament so far.
Michelle Butler finished the first round with a score of 81 to end the day 9-over par. Also competing for the Tigers, Katherine Hepler closed out the first round 11-over par.
