MIZZOU BEGINS HOME SLATE ON SUNDAY
Coming off of its first victory of the season, Mizzou opens up at home on Sunday, Nov. 10 against Southern Illinois-Edwardsville. This will be the first meeting between the Tigers and the Cougars in program history. Every Sunday Mizzou will host Family Funday at the Zou, featuring the bounce house, face painters and other fun activities on the Mizzou Arena concourse. This week, fans can come make their own Mizzou posters to help cheer on the Tigers. Children 12 and under will receive free admission, and fans who bring their Men's Basketball ticket stub from Friday's game against Southeastern Louisiana will receive free admission as well.

CATCHING UP ON THE COUGARS
The Cougars will open their season at Mizzou on Sunday, coming off of an exhibition win against Lindenwood. SIUE returns one of its leading scorers from last season, Tierny Austin, who was named to the preseason All-OVC team. Austin averaged 11.4 points per game last season.

UP NEXT
Missouri hosts Evansville on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. The Tigers lead the series with Evansville, 6-0, and topped the Purple Aces 71-54 in the 2011-12 season. Mizzou will honor its Hometown Heroes on Thursday, as all Military, Veterans, Emergency Personnel, Police and Fire will receive free admission to the game. Fans are encouraged to nominate their hero, who will be recognized at the game.

LAST TIME OUT
• The Tigers opened the season down Highway 70 at Saint Louis University. Mizzou topped the Billikens 74-59 to start the season 1-0. Newcomers Kayla McDowell and Jordan Frericks made a major impact in the outing, both earning spots in the starting lineup.

• McDowell posted her first career double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. She was perfect from the free throw line, sinking seven of seven shots at the charity stripe.

• Frericks fouled out of the game just one point short of a double-double as she finished with nine points and 11 rebounds for Mizzou. She dished out five assists, just two less than Sophomore Lianna Doty who led the team with seven on the night.

• The Tigers came out dominant in the first half, knocking down 18 points in the paint and holding the Billikens to just four before the break.
