• Mizzou won its season opener for the eighth consecutive season and the 39th time over the last 40 years. The Tigers are now 9-1 all-time in season openers played at Mizzou Arena.
• The win improved Mizzou's consecutive non-conference home game win streak to 74, dating back to early in the 2005-06 season.
• Missouri's victory also increased its home-court winning streak to 19 games, dating back to the final home game of the 2011-12 season.
• Mizzou recorded its largest margin of victory in a season opener since 2000. The Tigers won by 36 tonight, the most since recording a 90-49 win against Savannah State on Nov. 17, 2000.
• The Tigers shot 54.4 (31-57) percent from the floor against Southeastern Louisiana. Last season, Missouri did not eclipse the 50 percent mark until 10 games into the season, when the team shot 56.9 percent against South Carolina State on Dec. 17.
• Missouri also shot 52.2 (12-23) from beyond the three-point line in the contest. Last season the Tigers accomplished that feat just six times.
• Missouri's 12 three-pointers marked the first time the team had 10+ makes from three in a game since Feb. 9, 2013, in a home win vs. Ole Miss. The Tigers also hit 12 in that game.
• The Tigers dominated the glass in tonight's win. The Tigers won the rebounding advantage 47-26.
• Freshman Johnathan Williams, III made his first career start for Missouri. He was the first freshman since Jason Hortonin 2004 to start a season opener. Williams finished with seven points and six rebounds.
• Freshman Wes Clarkalso played well in his first career game as a Tiger. He finished with 13 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
• Junior Jordan Clarksonmade his much-anticipated debut and scored 14 points in the Tiger win. All of Clarkson's points came in the second half.
• Junior Jabari Brownled the Tigers with 19 points to post the 20th double figure scoring output of his career.
• Brown also tied his career high with seven rebounds, which he also accomplished five times last season.
• Sophomore Ryan Rosburg made his first career start and scored a career high seven points.
• Earnest Ross filled up the stat line scoring 12 points, grabbing six boards and blocking a career high three shots. He finished the game hitting 3-of-5 treys in the win.
