· Missouri had its eight-game NCAA Regional winning streak snapped in the 10-0 loss. The Tigers and Pride will play again later this afternoon at 3 p.m. in a winner-take-all finale. The loss was just Missouri's second over the last 20 NCAA Regional games.

· Nicole Hudson took the loss for Mizzou. She fell to 11-6 on the year and 1-1 in the Regional. She earned a win over Stony Brook in Missouri's first win of the Regional. Hudson gave up nine runs, but just three were earned as the Tigers committed three errors defensively with her on the mound.

· Hofstra improved to 46-12 on the year and 3-1 in NCAA Regional play. The Pride was once again led by Olivia Galati, who earned her third win of the Regional.

· Galati also earned her 40th win of the season and the 129th of her career. She leads the country with 22 shutouts this season and leads the country with her 40 wins, including those three W's this weekend.

· Hofstra grabbed its second win over a ranked team this season. The Pride is now 2-5 vs. the Top 25 opposition. The previous win was a 7-2 decision over then No. 5 Texas on March 1.

· Hofstra hit its fourth and fifth home runs of the NCAA Regional, all over the last two games. The Pride hit three in the 10th inning of last night's win and two more during a nine-run second frame vs. Missouri.

· Becca Bigler hit her 12th home run, a three-run shot, and Caryn Bailey followed with a three-run shot of her own. Both players led the game with three RBI.

· Both of Bailey's hits went for extra bases. She also hit a double, her team-leading 17th of the year.
