
Mizzou Takes Ninth at Mountain View Collegiate

Tucson, Ariz.--Mizzou Women's Golf closed the Mountain View Classic in ninth place. The Tigers hit a 290 in the third round to finish just 25-over-par at the tournament. Fellow Big 12 competitor, Texas Tech (-6) took first in the tournament followed by Iowa State who finished 1-over-par.
"I am very pleased with our performance at the tournament," head coach Stephanie Priesmeyer said. "MountainView is a great course for us to gain some confidence heading into the heat of our spring season. The team made a lot of putts and put themselves in a great position to build on some good golf down the stretch of our season."
Taylor Gohn finished the tournament tied for 23rd place to lead the Tigers. She scored just 4-over par after hitting 72-73-75--220 in the tournament. Hannah Lovelock picked up the pace in the third round of play, hitting even par to close the tournament 6-over-par and earn a 29th place finish.
Both Alina Rogers and Marissa Cook tied for a 40th place finish scoring 9-over-par on the tournament. Rogers improved in the third round, scoring 1-under-par, while Cook shot even par on the final day. Competing as an individual, Laura Kraft also tied for 40th place as she hit 1-over-par in the third round for a final score of 225 as well.
Kelly Osborne (+13) also competed in the tournament as an individual, and she earned a 55th place finish after scoring 75-79-75--229. Ariana Savich came in tied for 58th as she finished one stroke behind Osborne. Savich (+14) scored 77-77-76--230 in the tournament.
