
Tigers Complete Day One at the Mountain View Collegiate

Tucson, Ariz.--Mizzou Women's Golf team is currently in a tie for ninth place after the first day at the Mountain View Collegiate. The Tigers (297-302) played 36-holes to finish with a final tally of 599, 23-over-par. The Tigers are tied with Gonzaga University who finished 298-301 after the first two rounds. Texas Tech (-6) leads the tournament followed by Indiana, who shot even par.
Sophomore Taylor Gohn leads the Tigers in a tie for 16th at the tournament. She finished just 1-over-par after hitting 72-73--145 in the first two rounds. Hannah Lovelock also stood out for the Tigers as she finished the day 6-over par. Lovelock (75-75--150) is currently tied for 38th place in the tournament.
Competing as an individual, Laura Kraft (+8) is in a tie for 48th place. She went 77-75--153 in the first two rounds. Senior Marissa Cook shot 76-77--153 to finish 9-over-par in a tie for 51st.
Both Alina Rogers and Ariana Savich are tied for 54th in the tournament with a final tally 10-over-par. Kelly Osborne, who is competing as an individual, is also tied for 54th place after hitting 75-79--154 in the first two rounds.
Sophomore Kate Gallagher is also competing as an individual, and she currently sits in 63rd place with a score 11-over-par. Gallagher hit 75-80--155 in the first two rounds.
