
Tigers Finish Second at Claud Jacobs Challenge

Victoria, Texas - Mizzou Women's Golf finished the final round of play at the Claud Jacobs Challenge in a tie for second place. Missouri finished 70-over-par to tie with Iowa. The Tigers shot 311-313-310--934 in the tournament just behind Texas State who took first place with a final team total of 901. Louisiana Monroe finished in fourth place followed by Sam Houston State in fifth.
Sophomore Kate Gallagher recorded one birdie in her final round of play to finish 4-over-par in the round. She scored 79-77-76--232 for the tournament to finish in a tie for 14th place. Sophomore Taylor Gohn hit five birdies in the third round to finish just 2-over-par. She birdied four consecutive holes on the back nine and scored 80-82-74--236 for the tournament which put her in a tie for 19th place.
Senior Hannah Lovelock took 22nd in the tournament finishing 7-over-par in each of the three rounds of play. She recorded two birdies on consecutive holes in the final round of play. Alina Rogers finished just one stroke behind Lovelock as she went 79-78-81--238 to finish in a tie for 23rd place. Marissa Cook was also one stroke back finishing the tournament 23-over-par. She notched two birdies on the back nine of the course in the third round of play and finished in a tie for 25th.
Competing as an individual, Ariana Savich finished in a tie for 68th place she went 78-94-85--257 in the three rounds and recorded two birdies on the tournament.
