Missouri Golf battled windy, rainy conditions to claim a 15-shot lead after two rounds of play at the 2011 Columbia Orthopedic Group Mizzou Intercollegiate. The Tigers shot rounds of 301-299--600 to grab lead over Nebraska and Eastern Michigan.

The 2011 Mizzou Intercollegiate is being played at the par-72, 7,221 Club at Old Hawthorne.

Jace Long leads the Tigers once again following back-to-back rounds of 1-under-par 71. Long is the lone player in the field under par thus far and owns a five-shot lead over Eastern Michigan's Nick Carabary and a six-shot advantage over teammate Stuart Ballingall.

Missouri is aiming for its fourth consecutive win in the spring campaign. Long has won each of the last two events for Missouri and is in position for his third win during tomorrow's finale.

Freshman Emilio Cuartero was the third Tiger scorer with rounds of 79-76--155 and is 12th overall, while Will Harrold and Nick Wilson shot two-round 157's to tie for 24th.

Adam Rosenthal was one of six Tigers in the field as individuals and is tied for 20th. Hunter Kraus also played well, tying for 20th.

Action returns on Tuesday at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start. Missouri will be paired with Nebraska and Eastern Michigan.
