A five spot in the third by the Tigers broke the game wide open, making it 7-0 Tigers. Taylor singled and stole second to start the inning and scored on Nicole Hudson's RBI single. After Marston reached on a fielding error, Fleming singled up the middle to score Hudson. Marston would touch home on Marla Schweisberger's single down the line, and three batters later Lisa Simmons singled to right, plating both Schweisberger and Fleming.
Maddison Ruggeberg's grand slam in the top of the fourth was the highlight of another five run inning by the Tigers, as they pushed their lead to 12-0. Taylor led it off with a triple, and the Tigers loaded the bases with two walks. Schweisberger made it 8-0 with a single to left, and Ruggeberg followed with her second home run of the year one batter later. It is the second four RBI game of the week for Ruggeberg.
Taylor, Fleming and Schweisberger collected two hits each, while Simmons and Schweisberger plated two RBI to go with Ruggeberg's four.
