
Potter Moves Into Tie for 17th at NCAA Regional

Missouri senior Julia Potter moved up into a tie for 17th place after firing a round of 78 on Friday in the second round of the NCAA Central Regional at Otter Creek Golf Club in Columbus, Ind. Potter, who was in a tie for 24th spot after a 76 in round one, has a two-round total of 154.
She is among a group of 10 players in a tie for 24th place, one strokes out of a tie for 14th place and only three strokes out of the top-10. Oklahoma State's Victoria Park and USC's Lizette Salas hold the lead in the individual standings with two-round totals of 146.
After a birdie on her first hole of the day, Potter made 10 pars and seven bogeys the remainder of the round.
The final round of the NCAA Central Regional will be played on Saturday, with Potter's scheduled tee time set for 8:55 a.m. Potter's best finish in an NCAA Regional was a 10th place showing in 2008.
