
Potter Leads at Rebel Intercollegiate

OXFORD, Miss. - Missouri senior Julia Potter carded a four-under-par second round on Saturday and stands in first place at the Rebel Intercollegiate. Potter, who turned in a two-under-par 70 in Friday's opening round for a 36-hole score of 138, holds a four-shot lead over a pair of golfers entering Sunday's final round.
Missouri is tied for fifth place in the team standings with a 595 total after a second-round 301. The Tigers are tied with Arkansas-Little Rock, two shots out of a tie for third place.
Junior Nicola Race is tied for 26th place with a two-round score of 150, while senior Michelle Morgan is tied for 46th with a 153 total and sophomore Hannah Lovelock is tied for 51st spot at 154. Junior Lindsey Haupt has a 36-hole score of 165.
Potter will be looking for her second-consecutive tournament title after she took co-championship honors at last week's Mountain View Classic in Tucson, Ariz.
The final round of the Rebel Intercollegiate in Oxford, Miss. will get underway on Sunday morning.
