
Missouri In Tied for Third at Rebel Intercollegiate

OXFORD, Miss. - Behind a two-under-par round of 70 by senior Julia Potter, the Mizzou women's golf team in tied for third place after the opening round of the Rebel Intercollegiate in Oxford, Miss. Potter is tied for the lead after round one, as Ole Miss' Haley Sanders and Tulane's Linn Gustaffson joined Potter with round of 70 on Friday.
The Tigers carded an 294 on Friday and are tied with host-school Ole Miss for third place at the Rebel, two shots behind second-place East Tennessee and four shots back of the leader, Tulane.
Junior Nicola Race is tied for 12th place after recording a 73 in the first round, followed by sophomore Hannah Lovelock, who turned in a 75 and is in a tie for 23rd spot.
Senior Michelle Morgan stands tied for 33rd after an opening round 76 and junior Lindsey Haupt is tied for 98th place following an 83 on Friday.
The second round of the Rebel Intercollegiate will be played on Saturday, with the final round scheduled for Sunday.
