
Mizzou Takes 13th at Central District Invitational

PARRISH, Fla.- Missouri finished its opening tournament of the 2010 spring season with a 13th place finish after carding a final round 304 at the Central District Invitational in Parrish, Fla. Mizzou's final round score was its best of the tournament, finishing with a three-round total of 919 (306-309-304).
Senior Julia Potter had the best individual finish for the Tigers, placing in a tie for 27th place. She carded a 78 on Tuesday for a three-round score of 226.
The best round of the day for Mizzou was turned in by Nicola Race, who shot a two-under-par 70. She made four birdies on Tuesday and finished the tournament tied for 44th place with a 230 total score.
Junior Lindsey Haupt placed in a tie for 57th with a 233 total after a 76 in the third round, while senior Michelle Morgan finished in 68th spot with a 237 score and sophomore Hannah Lovelock tied for 69th place with a three-round total of 239.
Florida won the event with a final total of 857. A pair of sisters, Isabelle Lendl and Marika Lendl of Florida, tied for the individual medalist crown with 54-hole scores of 212.
Next up for Missouri is the UNLV Spring Invitational in Las Vegas, Nev. on March 8-9.
