PARRISH, Fla.-The Mizzou women's golf team stands in 13th place after two rounds of play at the Central District Invitational in Parrish, Fla. The Tigers carded rounds of 306 and 309 for a two-round total of 615 in their first tournament of the spring.
Junior Julia Potter leads Missouri after two rounds with a 36-hole total of 148, which places her in a tie for 11th place. Potter shot a one-over-par 73 in the first round, which included four birdies on the front nine. She followed that round with a 75 in the second 18-holes.
Senior Michelle Morgan turned in rounds of 74 and 81 for two-round total of 155 and stands tied for 49th place. Junior Lindsey Haupt is tied for 61st spot with a 157 score, while sophomore Hannah Lovelock is among a ground tied for 67th place with a 159 total and junior Nicola Race stands tied for 69th with a 160 score.
Florida leads the team standings with a 36-hole score of 571, which is 20 shots ahead of second-place TCU. Arkansas' Kelli Shean leads the individual competition with a 140 score after two rounds of play.
The final round of the Central District Invitational at the River Wilderness Golf Club will be played on Tuesday.
