Tiger Women 33rd at Pre-Nationals

Terre Haute, Ind. - The Mizzou cross country program saw its women's team place 33rd in the Pre-Nationals Blue Race on Saturday morning in Terre Haute, Ind. The Tiger women finished the race with 745 points as senior Kinsey Farren led the Tigers with a 78th-place finish after clocking a 6K time of 21:29.50. Florida State was the Blue Race winner with 115 points.

The Tigers ran six runners at the meet and aside from Farren, the Tigers got a good performance from sophomore Bailey Belvis, who placed 98th overall with a time of 21:39.70. She was just 10 seconds behind Farren as she was the Tigers' No. 2 finisher at the meet, giving Mizzou a pair of runners in the top 100.

Laura Roxberg finished 148th with a time of 22:02.20 while freshman Marie O'Leary was 194th after clocking a 6K time of 22:34.60. Aimee Bonte and Maggie Priebe also ran for the Tigers and finished 226th and 234th overall, respectively, with times of 23:03.30 and 23:14.30.

The Tigers were without their top runner, Kaitie Vanatta, and ran several members of the team at yesterday's Bradley Classic as well.
