COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Missouri softball team closes out their fall schedule this Saturday with a doubleheader against Three Rivers Community College and Lake Land Community College.  Action gets underway at University Field at Noon CT.

Mizzou pushed their fall record to 6-0 with a pair of wins over Columbia College and Johnson County Community College.  The Tigers beat Columbia College by a 3-1 final before knocking off Johnson County, 12-0.  Junior Kristin Nottelmann struck out 10 batters against Columbia, who had a 1-0 lead in the fifth inning.  The Tigers were able to get past their crosstown foe with back-to-back triples by seniors Abby Vock and Rhea Taylor in the bottom half of the fifth.

In game two, senior Kathryn Poet led the way with three hits, including a home run, while also scoring three runs and driving in four.  Sophomore Princess Krebs went 2-for-3 with a pair of runs scored and three RBI.  Senior Lisa Simmons got the win after throwing five shutout innings.
