Columbia, Mo. -
Mizzou Swimming and Diving hosted its annual Black & Gold Intersquad Practice Meet on Friday in preparation for its first meet of the season. The intersquad practice divided Mizzou's men and women into Black and Gold teams, giving them friendly competition before tomorrow's Show-Me Showdown.
The Gold team, captained by Francie Szostak and Jordan Hawley, rallied to a late victory, edging out the Black team, captained by Morgan McCleery and Anders Melin, in the last two races. The final score stood at Gold 274, Black 272 . Tomorrow's Showdown will begin at 11 a.m., with the second session starting at 3 p.m. at the Mizzou Aquatic Center.
