Tigers Stand Fourth at Husky Invitational

The Mizzou men's golf team turned in rounds of 293 and 286 on the first day of the Husky Invitational in Auburn, Wash, outside of Seattle. and stand in fourth place with one round to play. Pepperdine leads with a 566 total, followed by Washington (574) and San Diego State (587), followed by the Tigers' 579 score.

Sophomore Jace Long is in a tie for second place in the individual standings after rounds of 71 and 70 for a three-under-par total of 141. Pepperdine's Andrew Widmar and UC-Davis' Matt Hansen join Long in second place, behind leader Josh Anderson who has a 138 score following rounds of 70 and 68.

Junior Nick Wilson it tied for eighth spot at 143 (71-72). Sophomore Stuart Ballingall is in a tie for 25th place at 147, while senior William Harrold's 150 score places him tied for 40th and junior Adam Rosenthal is tied for 62nd place at 155.

The final round of the Husky Invitational will be played Tuesday at Washington National Golf Club.
