TRINITY, Texas - The Missouri men's golf team has a two-round total of 598 after carding rounds of 301 and 297 on day one of the Big 12 Championships at Whispering Pines Golf Club in Trinity, Texas. The Tigers stand in 12th place.
Redshirt freshman Jace Long leads the Tigers as he stands in a tie for 29th place with a 147 total. Long followed an opening round 75 with an even-par round of 72 in the second round.
Freshman Stuart Ballingall recorded rounds of 78 and 72 and is tied for 41st spot with a 150 score. Junior William Harrold has a 36-hole score of 152 and is in a tie for 45th place, while sophomore Chris Johnson is tied for 52nd spot with a 153 total. Freshman Michael Garden is tied for 54th place with a two-round score of 155.
Texas A&M and Oklahoma State are tied for the lead in the team standings with 565 totals.
Texas Tech's Chris Ward leads the individual competition after carding rounds of 69 and 75 for a 134 total.
