Ballingall Ties School Record with 63

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Missouri freshman Stuart Ballingall tied a school record by carding a 63 in the second round of play at the UALR/First Tee Classic on Monday. Ballingall is in first place with a two-round total of 132 (69-63).

In addition, Mizzou leads the team standings with a 36-hole score of 572 (293-279), two shots ahead of second-place Southeastern Louisiana.

After a first round 69, Ballingall carded a nine-under 63, which tied the Mizzou school record set by Chris Mabry and Shawn Jasper, who both shot 63s at the 2005 Belmont Invitational. Ballingall will go into Tuesday's final round with a seven-shot lead over Philipp Fendt of Louisiana-Lafayette.

Junior William Harrold is in a tie for ninth place with a two-round score of 143 following rounds of 73 and 70. Sophomore Chris Johnson is tied for 30th place with a 149 score, while freshman Michael Garden is in a tie for 39th at 150 and redshirt freshman Jace Long has a 36-hole total of 151 and is tied for 45th.

The final round will be played on Tuesday.
